    Superb

A very nice hotel with an excellent location 5 min from the heart of the city center! The rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was nice! Depending on the amount of people in the hotel it is served as a buffet or a la carte.

    Fabulous

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a cute courtyard where breakfast was served, with free drinking water. The rooms were clean and cosy. The hotel is located about a 10 minute downhill to the Zocalo.

Wifi in rooms hardly worked at all - though they do have a free computer/internet for use. Bathroom was basic - but clean. Hotel was not too far from the main sights (10 min walk to most things) but was in a quiet area, away from the action.

    Very good

just be careful with the exchange rate from pesos to us$ when you pay...

    Good

    Location was great

The beds are hard, even for someone who likes a firm bed. the shower heads could use some maintenance or replacement.

    Exclusive

After we check out, we left our bags in the hotel and went sightseeing. When we came back to the hotel to collect bags in the evening they even let us take a shower in one of their emty rooms (we paid 100 pesos but still very nice of them)

    Very good

Beautifully restored old house with nice patio to relax.

Breakfast could be improved. Rooms are a bit noisy.

Lovely breakfast is included. Staff are helpful and friendly. Absolutely beautiful rooms and hotel layout. There is a lovely atrium where brekkie is served and a roof top patio to chill out. We didnt want to leave!

The shower water is not really hot, its not too much of a problem as the weather is pretty mild/warm.

    Good

The setting, location and rooms are very pleasant.

Rooms are not well ventillated and often get overheated.

    Good

The location and the town - not the hotel so much...

First night was extremely noisy (front room on the GF - avoid at all costs!). Changed rooms and it was better. The owner was very helpful and went out of his way a few times to do things for me, Other staff not so great.

    Very good

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfasts were very good. The zocalo is as beautiful as ever in Oaxaca!

the room was dark during the day, and with unlined drapes, light at night when trying to sleep. Also, hot water was an issue, and the bed was hard, with dampish feeling sheets.Did not sleep well there!

    Superb

The rooms are clean and spacious. Generally this place is very good value. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, we thank them for our time here. They helped us with many tasks outside of their normal duties.

The hotel is on a steep hill on a major road used by buses and trucks all day and much of the night. I would say that the noise and pollution is higher than on other streets in Oaxaca. Due to this, the rooms are dark as they have only one small window into the inside courtyard (no sunlight) which is not usable unless you want people looking at you in your room.

    Superb

The best part of my stay was the attention I constantly received from all staff members, who took care of every question or challenge I had (e.g. exchanging currency) during my stay. I also found the hotel to be physically quite comfortable: room and breakfast served daily.

Traffic noise from the street. However, use of the overhead fan greatly reduced the street noise.

    Good service. Nice ambience.

Very hard beds. Tepid water in the showers every day but the last morning of our 3 night stay.

The manager was very helpful and knowledgeable in guiding us to appropriate transportation. Juanita, who serves breakfast in the morning is a gem.

As in most places in Mexico, the plumbing is imperfect.

    Superb

the price ratio was excellent given the good locationof the hotel.the breakfast was great and Mario the Hotel manager did an outstanding job of customer service.many points for him

the Hotel lacked a gathering place like a bar or a lobby where you could meet other guests.the terrasse on top could have been more friendly with perhaps a nice bar.
